Following
the publication of
Healthcare for London: a Framework for Action in
July 2007 and other reports recommending changes in the National Health
Service,
NHS LONDON is
developing a strategy specifically for quality and safety of
the care provided. NHS LONDON hopes to optimise three aspects of NHS
care in London :
patient safety,
clinical
quality,
and the
patient experience.
As one of the country’s ten Strategic Health Authorities, NHS LONDON is
charged by government to ensure that the capital’s health services
deliver world-class care.
NHS LONDON has asked PatientView, an independent researcher and publisher, to approach your organisation, IA- Ileostomy & Internal Pouch Support Group, to seek your opinion and perspective on the changes that might be needed to address the three above-mentioned critical areas of care for the NHS in London . The weblink to the survey can be found near the end of this email.
About this study
When answering this survey, please only consider the NHS situation in London (although we would be interested to learn of London experiences CONTRASTED with those from elsewhere in the country). We would also be delighted to learn your views on differing experiences ACROSS London . We would prefer if you could answer on behalf of your organisation.
Your opinions and the overall results of this survey will guide the NHS LONDON strategic review.
To thank you for your participation in the study, PatientView will email you the headline results (expected to be available to you in April 2008).
About the NHS LONDON survey
The survey is being conducted online via a specialist survey website. No IP addresses or email details will be visible to the survey administrators. If you would like your organisation to be attributed in the survey report written by PatientView and submitted to NHS LONDON, you can do so by specifying your organisation’s name in the appropriate part of the questionnaire.
Deadline for the NHS LONDON survey
We would appreciate your responses as soon as possible, so that we can study and act upon them. However, the final deadline for responses to this survey is March 8th 2008.
If you have any queries about the NHS LONDON survey …
… please contact Louise Oatham on 01547-520-965, or info@patient-view.com.
